From the 14th to the 18th January, PERFORM conducted its official first training week at Linnéuniversitetet in Växjö, Sweden. The topic of the week outlined “Digital Business Models” and comprised scientific workshops, insights from current researchers in Digital Retail, poster presentations, an exciting and challenging “Thesis in 3” – session and inspiring company visits.

Dr Andreas Auinger of FHO participated in the annual event series E-Business Best Practices at the Faculty of Management of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria on 25th of October 2018. 250 representatives from industry and academia attended the event where digitalization experts from Erste Bank, McDonald’s Austria, Thalia Austria, Fronius International and University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria shed light on the opportunities and risks of the digital age. From the 8th to 12th October, all 15 Early Stage Researchers and beneficiaries met together the first time and underwent an intense and diversified workshop week with presentations, exercise sessions, company visits, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
