PERFORM Contributes to the Virtual HCI International 2021

The HCI International 2021 (HCII2021) offers 19 affiliated conferences that can jointly and virtually be accessed as one conference. With sessions like “Human-Centered AI”, “HCI in Business, Government and Organizations”, or “Design, User Experience, and Usability” the HCII2021 had a lot to offer for its participants. The PERFORM project contributed to the special session “HCI in Digital Retail and Online Marketing” with two research papers.

Anna Hermes and Prof. René Riedl presented their paper “Dimensions of Retail Customer Experience and Its Outcomes: A Literature Review and Directions for Future Research”.
(Full text available here: https://bit.ly/3fcRMlB ) which provides an overview of CX measurements and their outcomes.

Robert Zimmermann, Werner Wetzlinger, Magdalena Mayer, Gabriele Obermeier, and Andreas Auinger contributed with the paper “Information Technology as Enabler of Transparency in Food Supply Chains – An Empirical Study” (learn more about the paper here: https://bit.ly/3lbYXhD ).

With an increased need for online shopping, home office, and virtual conferences during the COVID-19 pandemic, it became clear just how important the topic of human-computer interaction in general, and digital retail in particular, is.
