Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries are the core organisations of PERFORM. These organisations will host PhD candidates for conducting research projects in the different fields of Digital Retail. All these organisations also take part in the training of PhD candidates at training events by providing lectures and courses based on their specific expertise.

 


Maynooth University (MU)

The Project is Co-ordinated by Maynooth University (MU). Maynooth University is an internationally recognised institution located 25 kilometres outside of Dublin, Ireland, and is the nation’s fastest growing university. University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria

The research group Digital Business of FHO investigates the continuous development in the field of digital media and how it creates changes on both an organizational and a societal level. Main research topics of the group are marketing, Internet business models, digital retail and decision-making processes in online-environments. The methods used range from the traditional methods of empirical social research to innovative procedures from cognitive neurosciences.

 


Linnaeus University

Linnaeus University is one of Sweden’s newest higher education institutions. LNU offers ca. 180 degree programs, and 2,500 single-subject courses to more than 30,000 students at all levels, with is 2000 staff members. Its various scholarly disciplines are organized into five main Faculties: Technology, Economics and Business, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. The position is hosted at the Department of Informatics that conducts research and offers educational programs in information systems.

The OPAC Group closely collaborates with industry partners, and has an excellent track record of conducting practice-based research. The research and education at the OPAC group of the School of Industrial Engineering has specific emphasis on:(i) Planning and Control in Manufacturing, Services, and Supply Chains (ii) Distribution Logistics (iii) Maintenance and Reliability (iv) Finance and Accounting, oriented towards operational processes.

 

Johannes Kepler University

The Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) is a young university with a unique focus on socio-economic, legal, natural/technical sciences and medicine. The Institute for Digital Business is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business with Departments for Digital Business and Digital Education.
