Beneficiaries are the core organisations of PERFORM. These organisations will host PhD candidates for conducting research projects in the different fields of Digital Retail. All these organisations also take part in the training of PhD candidates at training events by providing lectures and courses based on their specific expertise.

Main research topics of the group are marketing, Internet business models, digital retail and decision-making processes in online-environments. The methods used range from the traditional methods of empirical social research to innovative procedures from cognitive neurosciences.
